Joe Gande Gear...
Musical Equipment and Accessories...
This is a list of very personal musical equipment/gear/accessories…all used by me…in the studio, on all my recordings, gigs, tours etc...etc...
It also is a cool place for me and all that may be interested in musical gear...to check out and maybe discover some info, specs, my personal thoughts and choices, and for those to see and read about what I use on my recordings and live on stage...etc...etc....
There are no guitar's/basses here for now...some may be added...
This page will continue to be updated...as things become available...so check back often...
For those of you that do not know...
I also spent 10 plus years on 48th Street, Music Row in Manhattan, NYC…back in its heyday….Sam Ash, Manny's Music, 48t h ST Custom Guitars…
I was mainly in sales/buying, and purchasing in the guitar departments but also sold all types of gear in all departments…I managed the Manny's Music Guitar Dept for a few years as well…
During my time on 48th St…I became sort of a guitar pedal/effect and amp guru. A "go to" guy for…1000s of musician(well known, famous, unknown and the like) and worked hands on and by phone with hundreds of companies and sales reps, product designers, etc…selling/buying/testing gear etc….
I also was so fortunate to work along side and become friends with so many talented people in the music business...friends that to this day..no matter how near or far away we are from each other or where life has made us travel... still remain to me, my closest brothers and sisters...a bond like no other..I sometimes equate it to what soldiers of the military must go through and feel like, having through my reading or my own personal interaction heard them describe such unique, close friendships and bonds through the ages...
Some people that are not musicians have asked…so…to answer…yes…if you'd like to buy anything for your own personal reasons or collectors/sentimental value…
I can sign/autograph the pieces for you if you'd like me too do so…
This is a detailed list with some pricing info, specs and some personal thoughts and opinions…
All offers are welcome on any piece....
I tried to price things moderately and much lower than the going rate right now for this used gear...
All prices are negotiable…most are "make best offer"....
Might be able to do better if you're buying a bunch of stuff together...

The SansAmp PSA has been used on major releases and worldwide tours for multiple applications and instruments including horns, vocals, and drums. Players, engineers, and producers alike find the SansAmp PSA very simple to operate. To program, you just tweak the knobs and save. Roger Mayer Voodoo-1 Distortion Active Splitter Pedal - Hand built in the UK- w/ two amp outputs doubles as a splitter to drive 2 amplifiers
Very Versatile, Going for 289.95 brand new...same as when I bought it....would sell for best offer....
Some Info:
The Voodoo-1 has been designed and optimized to suit a wide range of pickups. It is the best choice for humbucking pickups and produces bright clear tone colours that will make solos stand out without sounding too thin. Using single coil pickups and 4 x 12 cabinets gives the addition body with bite that is necessary to cut through. The Voodoo-1, of course is equally happy with combos at low volume and make these small amps sound like big stacks. The distortion produced feels particularly tube like in operation and the Voodoo-1 slips into distortion with silky smoothness and compression characteristics usually only associated with vintage classic tube amplifiers The volume control of the guitar is very effective in controlling the amount of distortion and the guitar cleans up to it's original tone very easily. The Tone control is of advanced design and has been optimized to compliment various pickup types. The Gain control enables the unit to be used as a power booster without distortion up to full maxed out grunge grooviness. The Output control sets the amount of boost required.
Electronically the Voodoo-1 distortion section uses a unique combination of the best discrete and IC design techniques to emulate the type of distortion found on many classic tube amplifiers. It allows the player to create a wide range of distortion effects from mild to extreme whilst reacting to the most subtle nuances in touch and playing.
"It´s a very effective distortion box with a gain stage that runs from the lightest crunch to one of the flappiest, dirtiest old style distortions I´ve heard for some time. Added to that is a tone control that thins or thickens the distortion with plenty of output boost for soloing levels. The distortion is very tube-like in its compressed tonality and more importantly it reacts like a good tube to guitar volume alteration." your
